I usually write these late at night when I can't sleep.

Most of the poetry I write is based on how I felt at the time, which, I suppose, is how it should be. These are primarily from my first years of college, when I felt really cut off. Some of them are even writing assignments. Not many are upbeat, but they all mean something to me.
