Currently God is teaching me...
About eternity. Have you ever seen the movie "Martian Child"? It is about a man named David, played by John Cusack, who adopts a boy named Dennis. Dennis believes he is from Mars. It is about a lost father-wannabe finding a child who just wants to love and be loved in return.

We live in a world of temporary. Do you know anything in this world that is permanent? There is nothing. We have a loving Father who is trying to show us His eternity in a temporal world. How do we grasp that? How does our tiny brains compute that? It cannot. The only thing we can do is exactly what Dennis did in the movie. Cling to the One who says He is our Father and trust that He is true to His word and will never let us go.

God said "I will never leave you nor forsake you." God never lies nor has He ever broken His promises. So why do we doubt? Because we are human.

Love Him and cling to Him. In a world of temporary we MUST trust in an eternal God.
