Journals and Blogs--My opinion of

As an older member of Sunrise, I remember when a journal was called a diary. Indeed, I never missed a day writing in mine from early childhood until after my children were grown and I experienced a devestating divorce.
All those writings were ME, probably the most precious possession I owned. It was destroyed in anger from another and alas, much of my writhing gone, gone, gone forever.

Spilled milk and no need dwelling on it. I did stop writing for years after that.

Blogging seems the same to me only an online outlet. It is a place to store and publish thoughs, whatever they may encompass.

If I am wrong correct me, inform me...

I think they are therapudical for some, even had a doctor have me write some after my fateful breakup mentioned above to find a measure of self worth. For others, just an outlet for emotions or random thoughts, For some, a place to make plans, form goals.

I think Journals are more personal but whose to say I'm right.

One of my goals is to learn to blog. Hopefully, I will learn here.I am interested in seeing others views of this subject.
