Some time ago, I began a journey in the port of poet Dan Sturn in his collection of poems "Bottle in the River." I began to write what Dan calls "responsive poetry" to each of his poems. His journey became mine.
This is a folder of my poems with links to Dan's. Dan's poems and perhaps mine as well should, for greatest effect, be read in order. It is helpful, in some cases, that you read Dan's original poem first before you read my response. For each poem I have posted, I have included the link to Dan's poem. However you choose to read them, I thank you. And I am sure Dan would thank you as well. I have his blessing in this project.
I have almost completed this journey through Dan's poem. There are only a few poems left to go. What then?
