Beauty of a Wave.
Poem based on observations of nature and mankind.

I see a wave.
It moves slowly towards shore.
Now and again a white cap can be seen.

The colors green, white, and blue
mix freely.

As the wave moves closer to shore.
It grows in size
and FORCE!

The white caps seem to join hands
Until the wave
FOAMS in white
and comes crashing down onto the shore!

Then, it slowly recedes
and the shoreline is quiet.

I see a wave of humanity,
moving slowly towards shore.
Now and again an individual stands out.

Hands are joined white, black, and yellow
mix freely.

As the wave moves closer to shore.
It grows in size
and FORCE.

But when will it come
CRASHING
down on the shore of ignorance?

When it recedes
will the shoreline be quiet and peaceful?

And when will people see the
beauty of a wave?
