Here is a series of short stories, monologues, etc, that I am writing about our experience with deployments. The feelings we experience as military families is something that is nearly impossible to completely understand without similar, first-hand experience. I have three goals in writing these shorts:

*To provide myself an outlet for these experiences that are so emotional and painful.

*To give other military families the tangible knowledge that they are not alone.

*To hopefully be able to give civilian readers an insight into some of the experiences we have. Most know, on some level, that the experience is difficult for families, but not all know some of the things we face. I'd like to share that.
