Spring is a time of fast skies

and gentle rains.



Of brush-piles glowing in the night

and the shimmering greens of the

northern lights.



Night comes

but briefly

in the land of the near mid-night sun.



Spring is a time where black fields

slowly turn green.

And then

spring slowly,

very slowly,

gives way to summer.
