Mr. Leonardi Vincenzi owner Vincenzi Clothiers has a problem. His foreman, James Frasier, dislikes women. He has gone through one secretary after another, firing them for various reasons.

He takes it on himself to find a secretary for Jim, one he can't fire, and one he has to get along with.

Claudia comes to Vincenzi Clothiers direct from college. Mr. Vincenzi has gone to the debates given by the business club, and made the decision that she would be best suited for Vincenzi Clothiers, and would be good for his foreman and puts a proposal to Jim he can't break.
