-Poetic Alchemy-

Everything has changed
For better or worse
I am different.

I am no longer a confused
Kid trapped in the broken
Body of an adult.

My life has purpose
Cause and effect
Right and wrong
Sweet bliss.

These words that I write
The lives that I invade
The message that I spread
A meaning of things.

Broken clarity sitting
On a windowsill in the sun
Burning away all the pain
Only remnants remain.

The meaning hides within
Misplaced brilliance
In a generation undone
Those that listen to my voice
Those that hear my calls
Have somehow been changed.

So have I
This is my life
Mine to give on the pages before you
Yours to accept
As a lesson of all things.

I have nothing else
Nothing I can offer you
Except this everything
The only everything
I have ever been given.

Poetic alchemy
Starts within
And spreads out
To you my friends...
