Tearful, joyful, and beautiful,
standing, staring longingly into the mirror.
I see the future as I want it,
knowing that I will fully commit
to the promises made yesteryear.

Plans, dreams and laughter
all calling me forward
well wishes and sound advice I will capture
gone are the doubts of not knowing what will be.
To let go, enjoy and laugh easily.

Committed I am, to make the most of our life
together we share the responsibilities and our strife.
Two hearts will enter, two souls will unite.
Two words to say, two words to delight.

A gesture of hope by a band of metal,
In the hope that this will settle
and let you know that mine is now yours, yours is now mine.
Thank goodness this all will start with a glass of wine.
