George Hutchinson is 40 and was born to middle class workers in central Illinois. His auburn hair and soul searching eyes have every lady falling all over him. At age 5 his father moved the family to Chicago and enrolled him in private schools rather than expose him to the rough clientele of the city schools. He attended a state university where he met Katherine. Katherine was majoring in nursing. When he graduated, he had a degree in business management. Rather than go straight into the work force, he opted to continue his education and obtain a master's degree in business management. Earning a 4.0 in both degree programs, he had the pick of jobs - the companies were actually soliciting him to work for them without his applying. He had lost track of Katherine over the years, but ran into her at the hospital where he was working as a business intern. After waiting for the right time, his mentor at the hospital set him up with Katherine. They married when he was 30 and she was 27. They have been married 10 years, most of them happy years. In his quest for success in his job, George took a management position at an airport in Ohio. Although he likes his job, he patiently listens to his wife's constant bitching about living in the middle of nowhere. His job requires him to attend formal functions with his wife in tow, although he searches for opportunities to exit early. He works hard and has worked even harder keeping his family's home livable. He loves to play football, basketball, and baseball with his twin sons, age 9, and can be found playing "tea party" with his 4 year old daughter and her stuffed animals. He gets up early to work out at a fitness club - showers and dresses for work there - and then heads for the office. On weekends he can be found entertaining his wife and kids at the club's pool, or being involved in some other family activity.
Although he loves his wife dearly, his best friend is one of his co-workers. Unfortunately, Katherine believes that the two are having an affair and Katherine is unsure how to deal with that. George has yet to find a good group of male buddies - they all seem to be back stabbers at work and extremely shallow and self-serving in the neighborhood. He rarely has time to join anything else to meet people.
