When I came home from school as a pre-teen, I'd either play sports with friends, go roller skating, or listen to the radio while dancing around my room. I paid close attention to the popular songs because I wanted to have a topic of discussion with other girls my age. Before long, I started trying to emulate the songs I heard and created my own. I've written over a hundred songs since.
