fragments of a dark forgotten world, where there was a light now remembered by but a few

short stories that are but figments of the edge of existence. these are views of a world, taken out of time, where ideas referenced have been but forgotten

It was a holdup of mine for a long time to capture brief snippets of wonderous alternate realities, but then having the stories die untold in my mind because they were without context. I read the excellent "Dictionary of the Khazars" and realized that not all myths need to be finished, and indeed, in the shadows unlit lingers the imagination, filling in the substrate with what is deeper than words.

These stories also live at my website at http://k0s.org/stories/figments/
