Think again.
Back in the summer of 2001, I became obsessed with a complete fascination of vampires. Now, one might think that to be very strange for a forty nine year old woman (I'm 52 now). But I didn't care, I am a youngster at heart and this was something I wanted and needed to do.
With that revelation, I decided to make a web site relating to the subject I was enthralled with. Under the pseudonym of Toland Whiteharte, who is also my vampire character in the White Wolf RPG (Role Playing Game) of Vampire:the Dark Ages and Vampire:the Masquerade, I went to the local library and began my research.
There I gleaned every bit of imformation that I thought would be of interest. I took up a complete table with numerous books scattered about me, a pencil, notebook and scratch pad. I spent several hours there writing up my outline. Then, once I was home, I opened my HTML editor and wasted no time in designing the website. Now this took a bit longer to do. I had to find a good background, pictures and other elements a good web page was composed of. After two weeks of constructing, editing and re-editing, the site was ready to go online.

Three years later, the site has been untouched by me. Even with the guestbook, I got little in the way in feedback. Then I got an idea

. Why not transcribe some of it to Writing.Com. So here is some of the original portions of that sadly neglected web site.
At first this folder wasn't well received, which was proven by a 2.0 rating it got. I was almost ready to deleted the whole kit-and-kaboodle when I remembered that authors get rejection letters and negative feedback.
Stephen King was one of those authors. Some of the stories he wrote under the pseudonym Richard Bachman were tossed out like spoiled fish. But King didn't let that daunt him from resubmitting after he made his fame with stories like Salem's Lot, Carrie, Cujo and the Shining. You can bet his Bachman books sold like hotcakes on the book stands.
In light of that, this folder is here until I either can no longer keep my upgraded account, Story Master kicks me off (I shudder with that thought and hope that never occurs) or I meet my demise. So, enjoy what I have to offer, learn from my mistakes or reap the wisdoms from within. I've also included in this folder some of the adventures of my alter ego, LordToland Whiteharte.
REMEMBER TO TRUST IN YOURSELF AND KEEP ON WRITING!
