Free Verse~~arrest the other guy
these must be verse. they have so few words per item.

I want to know -
What is free verse?
Is it phrases?
A tourettes outburst
Of suppressed thoughts
In inkblots - splashed
Willynilly on a virgin page.
(And inkblots can be read.)
So is that it?
But I'm repressed.
No no that's not it.
It seems a little too
Free.
Give me a rule.
Rhyme goes with reason.
Here, only wide margins hint
Verse wants out of the ink.








Given how strung out I get about uninviting summary lines, it was startlingly difficult to come up with useful things to say in the brief descriptions. By and large, these are very short pieces, with no amusing additional remarks to make or annotations to add.

I have done my best with them, and I enjoyed their making.
