Ah, why do I do this to myself!? A single mum with a second full-time job and not enough time on her hands to breathe, I have foolishly signed up for a breath-taking challenge: To write 50,000 words in one month. Today is the 5th of July, that means I'm 5 days behind already.

I have no idea how I'm going to do this, but I'll give it my best shot, with the same dogged determination as my Viking ancestors who, with nothing more than a few long boats and lots of elbow grease, somehow crossed the seven seas to conquer the world!

I will be posting my daily efforts and then the final version by July 31st - if I get that far!
