Fantasy -- I'll . . .
Rated: 13+ | Folder | Family | #877470
Sometimes, the fantasy of escape becomes a real adventure.
After dealing with my aging mother's declining health, and dealing with her prescription of diduadid, I arranged for her to have paid professional care for a few days.

The emotional toll we Boomers are facing as our parents age, is monolithic.

It seems you're darned if you do, or darned if you don't.

Finally, with no darn left, I filled my car's gas tank, and took off for a little "Isle of Capri Resort" fantasy vacation turned real.

Sometimes, for me, escape -- or a change of scenery for a bit -- means the difference between sanity and not.

Is it, perhaps, in our insanity, that we find sanity? Or is it the other way around?
