I enjoy poetry and read some fab poets. Here's my list of favourites starting with the ones I discovered first:

John Betjeman,
William Shakespeare,
Ogden Nash,
Spike Milligan,
Roger McGough,
Ted Hughes,
Percy Bysshe Shelley,
Samuel Taylor Colleridge
D.H. Lawrence,
Alfred, Lord Tennyson,
William McGonagall,
Charles Causley,
William Blake,
Rory Motion
There are many more but this will do for now.

My poetry is nothing like any of these. It is often a pastiche of a style but never grand.

As they are all short and mostly funny I expect you read them all. So get on with it!
