Upon entering the courtyard you notice you are surrounded by the chaos of many of the local people who are here on various points of business. There are sounds of horses trotting and sounds of children playing. The area has such a relaxed atmosphere that it gives a sense of belonging and truly portrays the personality of the Lord and his lovely Lady.
There are several places the public has access to from the courtyard. First, the stables are off to the right along the castle's outer wall, and next to them is the marketplace where many things can be bought and sold.
Off to the left are the peaceful gardens where the Lord and his Lady frequent often and further into those is the Walled Garden where the beauty becomes more intense and displays the loving relationship the Lord and Lady have.
Opposite the gate to the outside world is the keep, where all the action becomes more focused. The first place that can be visited there is the Receiving Room and beyond that are all the other rooms of the keep from the Dungeons underneath to the Great Hall where social gatherings are held to the more private chambers higher up.
Please come in and have a look around. The castle is open to anyone who wishes to visit.
