"I thought I would die if I couldn't have you. Now that I know I can't have you, death seems inferior." ~Author Unknown

When I first began to write, it was as an outlet for my emotional sorrow. Being able to write about my personal experiences with love and relationships that just didn't work, I was able to understand something: Love is the most powerful force in the universe.
Not love, but Love.
It is the reason we live, it is the reason we die. It has started wars, and is capable of ending them all. It is the reason we get out of bed in the morning, it is the reason we stay in bed all day.
I gave these poems their own folder because I think it is important we look into ourselves and realize that it is only in the cold shadow of loneliness do we realize the strength and power of the light of love. Hopefully, no one man will have to spend much time dwelling on this, but rather he will dance in the shining glory of the love he has found.
