Ghazals
Ghazals are Indian / Persian poems with a very precise form.

These poems are great fun if rather tortuous. The better you become at them, the more natural they will be. I am still at the stage of making them rather funny.

I am a teacher of creative writing and I have been asking my students (children and adults) to have a go at writing a ghazal. The best of the results may be found in this folder, credited to the correct poet, of course.

For further information about ghazals and how to write them look at,
