Hey fellow writers! My name is Abby...... a casual writer from suburban Chicago. I have been writing, as I said, "casually," for a long time... journaling, mostly, about what I think and feel about life and my current circumstances, whatever they may be. I've dappled a bit in newswriting and fiction writing, (short-lived phases, both) and more recently have begun to experiment in expressing my thoughts and feelings through poetry. So far, I have only shared my work with the chosen few (my best friend)... but the time has come to abandon my stingy ways and share my work with other enthusiasts, so I can improve and grow.
