I've been an avid writer since I was a child (I used to like staying in at recess to write stories.) When I was in grade eight, I was entered into a high school writing contest and came out in second place. I think that may be what told me that I had some skill when it came to writing. Now in my twenties, though I often struggle with procrastination and lack of inspiration, I take writing seriously. I want to have a future in writing so I'm doing what I can now to make that happen. -aelriche
