I am just a writer. I've struggled for a long time to call myself such. I have kept journals for years, mostly paper, online in recent years. I have had 32 poems published, but I still didn't think that was good enough to be called a real writer. This past November, I finally joined NaNo, produced a 50,000 word manuscript, edited and proof-read for 6 months, and finally sent it off to CreateSpace at the end of April, receiving my printed book within a week. There is no feeling in the world like seeing your own words in print. *very thrilling* and so now, I guess that I can call myself a true writer. :)
