I always knew I wanted to write. The problem was that, although my subconscious mind knew it, my conscious mind was oblivious to it. The first time I ever wrote anything was when I was 12 years old. Shortly after that, my parents divorced & with no one to notice my interests, I got lost in the world for a long time. But I never stopped writing. I kept journals & wrote poems whenever I was emotionally affected by something. It wasn’t until last year that my subconscious mind caught up with my conscious mind. I began writing again & the joy & liberation it’s given me cannot even begin to come close to anything else I’ve tried to do in my life.
