I once got a fortune cookie which stated that "someday you will write a book". Feeling very strongly the need to believe in something, I chose to believe in this little slip of paper. Although it has not happened yet, I have not lost faith. However, I have lost my job, which gives me plenty of time to write (which I love) and to spend with my children (who I love even more). Maybe now I should start on the book, since fortune cookies only help those who help themselves.
