I joined WRITING.COM in the hope of improving my writing skills and learning writing craft to a good standard and get some work published. I am under no illusion and know I will not be the next multi million selling author but my aim is to something pubished that is critically well received. I would agree with the maxim 'we all have a story to tell', its just finding a way of telling a story in a way that entertains others. Certainly I have had an eventful, even difficult life though not a tragic one. Its only later in life that I first found myself and more recently started to make the best use of my abilities and skills.
