I'm a happily-married old geezer. I was a working guitarist, but don't play much these days. I spiked and lined track for the CPR in the wildest section of the Canadian Rockies, built wilderness trails high in the Purcells, pulled lumber on a greenchain, did part of a heavy duty mechanic apprenticeship, planted a million trees, worked in forestry, drove a cab in Vancouver, and practised as a physical therapist for 13 years. I raced on road and mountain bikes and XC skis. That's only a partial list. Got bored of all that and now I'm a software developer. Through it all, reading kept me sane. Now writing keeps me sane. I have lots of stories.
