She would, normally, have never drawn a second glance -- neither thin nor truly overweight, neither pretty nor ugly, hair neither blond nor brown, eyes neither brown nor green. Even her clothes, though strange, wouldn't have drawn much notice. Her average hand with its stubby fingers certainly wouldn't.
