My name is Amy. I stopped writing for just over six years (except for college assignments which were usually papers on some literary genius). I began writing poetry again in 2007 and haven't stopped. Of course there are times where I will turn out poem after poem only to go months without having any quality work. During those times I like to complete my "Writing Experiments." I use Facebook and ask my friends for words or phrases. I take what they type and turn it into a poem; most of the time it is completely ridiculous, since that is usually just what I need at the time.
