As the pen name implies, I am a physician in the US Navy, a shrink to be specific. I often write about my work, but never base a character on a single patient. When events are real, I try and mix things up to protect patients' privacy. That being said, I offer as accurate a picture of people and illness as I can. I’m currently trying to publish my first fiction novel, and working on a second about the USNS Mercy’s rescue mission to the Tsunami disaster in Asia.
