Earning a living as a technical author, and would like to think I could convert my background into doing creative writing for a living. Trouble is you don't use many adjectives and adverbs in technical writing, and any instructions have to be crisp and direct. Our home is in the U.K. and we live in the country, not far from town. This means we can look out on green fields, trees and animals, yet within half-hour's drive can shop, visit the library, cinema etc. Life is good.
