Lori A. Basiewicz quit her dreaded day job in January 2005 under the guise of returning to school to work on her Master's degree. This clever plot supposedly allows her to write full-time and work on her first novel. Lori has professionally published magazine and newsletter articles, short stories, travel reviews, and been contracted as a ghostwriter. In her spare time, she rides horses, gets bruised and battered learning aikido, and begs the voices in her head to be quiet so she can sleep.
