I'm not exactly new to writing, but I'm not exactly trained in it either. I've always had trouble finishing the projects I've started. Recently, however, I've begun working on poetry, a writing form that I haven't visited since grade school, and a pleasant departure from the research papers which have occupied most of my time over the past four years. I sincerely hope that I'm as good as I think I am, but I'll never know if I don't put myself out there.
