Tiare Newport Ph.D. is the author of The Gifts of Alzheimer’s a passionate and moving work inspired by her role as her father’s primary caregiver during his ten years of Alzheimer’s disease. She has graduate degrees in Counseling Psychology and Mythological Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute where she is a guest lecturer. Additionally, Dr. Newport has worked with Hospice and done elder care for over twenty years.
