I've been in publishing sales for over 30 years, but in all that time have never attempted to write... until now. More than anything, what stopped me was my abject terror at the thought of constructing that first sentence! I suppose I assumed writing couldn't happen until the muse struck. A friend, who is a published author, and who teaches journalism, pointed out that writing is work. You have to simply do it. Every day. I guess I'm a slow learner. So, here goes.......
