I've been writing first-person columns and Sunday magazine articles for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review since 1994. My columns have appeared in magazines and online writing sites also. I am working on several short stories that have languished in notebooks for years, but I'm easily distracted-right now by Twitter, which I intended to be an exercise in writing with brevity and wit. It can be, if I concentrate! My desk is stuffed with book ideas, short stories in need of editing, and more than a few flash fiction contest entries that didn't make the cut. Hope to publish a piece of the pile before I expire face down on my keyboard.
