Deanna R. Adams is a freelance writer, essayist, and author. Her work has been published in a variety of publications. Her first book, “Rock ‘n’ Roll and the Cleveland Connection,” published by Kent State University Press, was a finalist for two awards. Her second, is "Confessions of a Not-So-Good Catholic Girl" was released in 2008. She is an instructor at Lakeland Community College, and coordinates writers’ conferences.
