I'm 18 years old and currently a freshman enrolled at UC Santa Cruz. I'm a proposed Literature Major (Creative Writing Concentration). I want to eventually become a novelist and I have been writing since I was fourteen, but this is the first time I have shown any of my work to anyone. My Portfolio is made up of some of my first short stories, and though I know they are quite cynical and dark, I'm trying to see if they are salvageable. Any Criticism is welcomed.
