I am a proud mother of two boys. I have been married for 17 years and my husband is very supportive of this project of mine. The story started with a friend of mine I have known since high school. 25 years now. Her story is unique in the fact that she is the only black child to be adopted into an all white family back in the 1960's. Her story shares the harsh realites of humanity and the cruelty of being different. Her courage, strength and the love of her family tell us that not everyone is ignorant . My friends struggles mixed with her triumphs inspired me to write this and in turn I hope will inspire you. Many thanx to Ann.
