Karin Cox is a former editor, now fulltime author, who has published more than 28 books. In 2010, her titles Amazing Facts about Australian Wildlife Conservation and Amazing Facts about Australia's Early Settlers were listed as notable books by the Children's Book Council of Australia. In 2010 Karin was awarded two coveted Whitley Awards for Best Popular Zoology for Australian Wildlife: Unique & Unusual and for Zoological Conservation for Amazing Facts about Australian Wildlife Conservation. Karin has also published memoir (Roma: From Prison to Paradise in 2004), poetry and short-fiction and is currently completing her second novel.
