I am a 33 year old woman who lives in New York. I am married, and we have our first baby on the way! I have worked in Social Work for several years, but have always had this burning desire inside of me to touch people with my writing. I have kept journals and wrote poems since early childhood, but quite honestly I have never had the courage to burst free from my own self criticism and put myself out there. I realize now that I have to overcome this fear in order to fulfil my passion.
