Author’s Biography I taught in the New York Public Schools for over 30 years. I spent all of those years in one school and loved every minute of working with my students and encouraging them to be the best they could be and never giving up on themselves. I would like to add that I just had my first book published and it is called My Name is Bertha. I am really excited about it. It is about a ten year old girl who gets picked on in school and is overweight and uncoordinated.
