I used to write poetry regularly, but I have slacked off and I think that it has affected me creatively. That is a big reason why I joined--to help revive some of that creative spark I once oh-so-brilliantly had. I hope that the membership here will get those creative wheels turning and those creative juices flowing like the beautiful river they once were. I also hope that hearing constructive criticisms from fellow writers will allow me to blossom as a hobbyist writer.
