Goodwin

My parents were political extremists in Britian in the 1920's and 1930's before they were arrested and executed. In 1938 they put me on a tobacco boat which carried me across the English Channel. They had arranged for me to stay at the Church of the Holy Light and it was here that I practiced reading and writing for the next ten years.
