I was born and raised, along with three other boys in Southern Oregon. My family were all loggers.I left the area in 1965 to join the Air Force. Shortly after that, I went to Viet Nam where I help build Phu Cat Air Base.When I returned I left the Air Force and went to Howard Payne University where I took a BA Degree.I joined the Army in 1975 and finished out my career in the Army. That included 9 years in Germany.I am married with three daughters and two grandchildren. We live in Colorado Springs.
