I'm proud descendant of freed African slaves, Cherokee & White slave owners. First school segregated in Tn. Move to Kearny, NJ eye-opening experience. New life-inter-racial family of show biz folks. learned the art of tap in its raw /original form from masters of dance,studied other forms of dance. W/Mura Dehn & Pepsi Bethel.& Mama Lou Parks, toured the U.S. & Europe w/R'n'R artists -era- 50ties-70ties, worked Las Vegas when it was segregated. Part of a great youth training program. in East Harlem, Met w/ promoters like Sid Bernstein Now semi- retired; writing more than poems. Life is good, because mine is guided by God….
