I am a writer/translator who has published translation in 'The Moral Domain' -- a short story by Leo Tolstoy called 'After the Ball.' I also have eleven or twelve short-stories/poems publish (one in Russian.) I like to listen to NPR night music, I like chess, I like Haldor Laxness, like Pushcart Prize stories and poetry. I like Sigrid Undset, I like J.R.R. Tolkien. I have attended school at the University of Iowa and have studied both Russian and English there and have also attended the University of Washington -- though I have never received a degree. I love all things intellectual.
