Anna wrote her first critically acclaimed short story, "A Long Way Home", in grade seven. Ms. Ewan, who was very frightening, gave her an "A" and said (paraphrasing) that is was pretty good. Anna's parents also really, really liked it. Ever since then, she has been creatively manipulating words in the form of poetry, prose, blogs, essays, journals, and the like. Anna is now 23, and no longer afraid of teachers.
