For me, writing is therapeutic. I do not think there's any other universal way of reaching everybody other than words. It could be argued that actions communicate louder - but actions are specific to relationship. Words, like I said, are universal. I write for me, in hopes other people will like it. If they don't, that doesn't bother me. I don't like everything I read. Constructive criticism only makes your work better.
